For forty years, one part of the Round Table motto, connecting nations and peoples, has been taking shape in Mons. In 2026, RT6 hosts the 40th edition.
The motto, beyond the city

Round Table was born in Norwich in 1927, then spread to more than 60 countries. Very quickly, the movement understood that acting for its city and reaching out beyond its borders are two sides of the same commitment.
That's the part of the motto many people know less about: connecting nations and peoples. Not through speeches, but through what Round Table does best: gather people around a table, share a meal, build a friendship that lasts long after the handshake.
The Euromeeting is the most concrete expression of that idea: a weekend where Tablers from all over Europe come together in a host city. In 2026, that city is Mons.

CEETM 2019: Mons already welcomed Europe
In October 2019, Mons 6, Beloeil 10 and Saint-Ghislain 49 hosted more than 350 Tablers from the CEE region. Three days of regional AGM, parties and international friendship.

The heart of the Euromeeting
Arrival & Welcome Party
In the afternoon, participants are welcomed at the official programme. Then the Welcome Party takes over at RT6's Warmup Doudou (Rue Samson 25, Mons): get to know each other in a relaxed atmosphere, until the small hours.
City Tour & Nations Night
A tour of Mons, then a group meal. Followed by an activity designed around the Euromeeting's theme, where everyone gets involved to build bonds. In the evening, each nation puts on its own act, then the party takes over.
AGM & Gala Dinner
In the morning, the AGM: each Table introduces itself, and we elect the organisers of the Euromeeting two years out. In the evening, the Gala: auction, banner exchange, the Tabler Monkey award, then the handover of the monkey to next year's organisers.
The Doudou
Doudou Breakfast, the Golden Coach climb at 12pm, the Lumeçon fight at 12.30pm, then the party in Mons "until you can".
Three days to discover all of Hainaut
The Pre-Tour isn't mandatory: it's a bonus for those who arrive earlier and want to extend the discovery. Full-blown activities, no overlap with the rest of the stay: the UNESCO-listed Grand-Hornu mining site, the Ruffus vineyard and its tasting, a beerbike ride with a finish at the Strépy-Thieu funicular boat lift, a VIP visit to the Saint-Feuillien brewery, a Belgian chip-shop dinner, and already the party in Mons for the launch of the Doudou.

Several European Tables share our number 6. The 2026 ✓ badge marks the Tables that will be in Mons this year.

Mons 6 welcomes the 6 family around its table. Solid-outline seats: Tables 6 present in 2026. Dotted-outline seats: Krefeld and Forlì, expected at a future edition.
11 seats taken in May 2026, 2 seats pending (Krefeld and Forlì). And at the next table, Randers RT96 from Denmark joins us as a guest of honour.

Mons is a small city, but twice inscribed on the UNESCO World Heritage list and European Capital of Culture in 2015. Here's what Tablers shouldn't miss.

Table Ronde 06 de Mons was born in 1953. Since then, it acts for its city, but it also welcomes Europe. The two aren't in opposition: it's the same movement, at two scales.
Hosting the Euromeeting means opening Mons to around sixty Tablers from close to ten countries, showing them the Doudou, sharing a brewery, a stage, a gala table. And in the process, shining a light on our city and our causes far beyond Hainaut.
