Why we donate
Blood can't be manufactured. Every day, hospitals need donations for operations, births, long-term treatments and emergencies. The reserves rest entirely on the generosity of donors.
For us, giving blood is a natural extension of our commitment to Service: it's quick, free, and the impact is immediate for someone, somewhere. That's why we keep coming back.
Want to donate too?
In Belgium, blood donation is organised by the Belgian Red Cross Blood Service. Anyone in good health aged 18 to 70 can donate (18 to 65 for a first donation). The donation itself takes about ten minutes.
