Our mission
Uniting young people through friendship and service, encouraging personal growth and positive action. In Belgium and beyond, and in Mons since 1953.
Adopt · Adapt · Improve

It is not just a motto, it is a way of life. Round Table honours tradition while staying open to change. It never settles for little: it improves.
The movement was born in Norwich, England, in 1927. The idea is simple and still holds true: bring young adults together around a table, to share ideas, develop themselves and act for their community. Today, Round Table gathers more than 30,000 members in over 65 countries.
The four aims
FourfoundingaimshaveguidedeveryTablefromthestart.Theymapoutwherewearegoing,andwhyitmatters.
To develop the acquaintance of young people through the medium of their various occupations.
To emphasise that one's calling offers an excellent medium of service to the community.
To cultivate the highest ideals in business, professional and civic traditions.
To promote and further international understanding, friendship and cooperation.
Round Table pursues its aims through meetings, talks and the exchange of views, where any political, religious, linguistic or racial proselytising is forbidden.
The fourth aim, connecting nations and peoples, comes into its own with the Euromeeting. See Euromeeting 6.

RT6, the mission day to day
Amissionisonlyworthwhatyoumakeofit.InMons,ithasaface,adateintheyear,andveryrealcharities.
The movement was born in 1927. Round Table Belgium came to life in 1948, and Table Ronde 06 de Mons in 1953. Three dates, one same idea, passed down from one generation to the next.
In practice, RT6 brings the mission to life through its events, starting with the Warmup Doudou: 100% of the profits go to local charities. And with the Euromeeting, it opens Mons to the whole of Europe's Tablers.
"No strangers here, only friends you haven't met yet." Adopt · Adapt · Improve, in Mons as everywhere.
